Also, keep in mind that a lot of the Arabic girls names end with the letter 'h' which is the Arabic letter 'Heh'. In Arabic Names generally, this letter is known as Ta al-taneeth: تاء التأنيث

Or: 'H of the feminine'.

(Note: not all Arabic names follow this rule).

Example:

Boy's name: Kareem كريم

Girl's name: Kareemah, pronounced: Kareema كريمه

Kareemah is the feminine of Kareem, but not all boys names could be exchanged like this!

Also when you look at Arabic names written in English, you will notice that a lot of these names (Arabic girls and boys names) have 'ee' or double 'e' in the middle, which matches the Arabic 'Ya' letter ي

Some people substitute this 'ee' with an 'i' to make it easy to write in English, however, the accurate pronunciation of these names is the 'ee'.
