Before you start looking for Arabic music mp3, here are the traditional Arabic musical instruments, used to create this art famous for it's quarter tone and belly dance:

عود
- Oud or sometimes translated to 'Lute', is the main instrument.
All the tunes for Arabic songs come from this magical instrument. Traditionally, an
Arabic singer
will first learn the song by singing the tune with the accompanying Oud.
Farid Al Atrash (also El Atrache) is known as the 'King of Oud'.
Munir Bashir, the Oud virtuoso, although not recognized as one of the famous musicians; was the last of these great old masters.
If you like Flamenco music and Spanish guitar, I would recommend listening first to the Oud playing of Farid then Bashir, then other modern Oud players.
The Oud could be 5 thousand years old!

قانون
- Qanoon, similar to the upright Harp but laid down horizontal. Sadly, it is gradually losing it's position to the....yes, the modern and more sophisticated Keyboards.

طبله
- Tabla, also called Daraboukka, is the essential and most important instrument in the famous Arabic belly dance.
Said al-Artist (yes, Said the artist as he proudly calls himself) is still on top of the list of Tabla players, for the last twenty years. All famous Tabla players performing the belly dance style are aware of that.

- Doholla, similar to Tabla but bit bigger, used to support Tabla and to create 'call and responce' lines.

رق
- Reqq, similar to (and maybe the ancestor of) the western Tambourine... hey mister!

ناي
- Nai, similar to the flute but made of bamboo, and no longer a key instrument.
All the best
