The following Arabic phrases are basic phrases, you will find useful when you you want to communicate with Arabic speaking people, or when you are traveling to Arabic countries and you want your own basic vocabulary of the Arabic language.
You do not need to master Arabic grammar, and you do not need to decipher a regional dialect; I've arranged the following list (as well as other lists in this website) in the best way that you will benefit, i.e. this is what you will definitely need to know.
The following lists are a mix of Arabic Egyptian dialect (the only dialect understood in ALL Arabic countries, because of Egyptian history, Egyptian songs, Egyptian films, Egyptian authors...etc) and modern Arabic; presented in the best way to be used and understood. I've also mentioned the letters c and d (for classical and dialect phrases respectively) in front of some of the phrases, but this will only benefit students or academics, and I advise you not to worry about them.
NOTE: c = classical/modern Arabic d = dialect/Egyptian m = male f = female
